Using reCaptcha with Perl

Hello

I have a small genealogy website which uses a standard contact form and formmail.pl to send it to me.

I've been plagued by spammers of late and it was suggested that I use a reCaptcha so that on legitimate queries get through (or persistent spammers!)

My Perl knowledge isn't great, but from what I've been able to see, reCaptcha can't be used with Perl any more.

I'm just wondering what others use and if anyone can give me any guidance?
