lost AUDIX password

(OP)
The people before us left behind an Intuity AUDIX Release 2.0, but I don't have the sa password, and no one at the other company knows. How can I reset or retrieve the password?

RE: lost AUDIX password

I don't believe there is a way for you do this without the help of Avaya.  Have you tried using the same password that is used for the PBX, IVR or any other telecom equipment you may have?  Avaya will reset it but only with the exchange of some of that green stuff that they love so much.

RE: lost AUDIX password

try
one of the defaults
one of the Audix system defaults is:
login:craft
passwd: crftpw

RE: lost AUDIX password

is there any default admin accounts for the definity bcs switch?

RE: lost AUDIX password

IMHO, there is enough information floating around about default passwords in the hacker zines that we don't need to be posting it here.  Not to say anyone who knows what they are doing hasn't deleted unused logins and changed default passwords but let's help protect folks who haven't learned all the ins and outs yet by not disseminating that kind of information.

RE: lost AUDIX password

actualy not posting that information will be providing a dissearvice to the newer admins who havn't learned the ins and outs yet

RE: lost AUDIX password

Talk to Avaya, if they want to release the information that is their perogative, as for me I'm pretty well programmed not to give out passwords, default or not.
