The people before us left behind an Intuity AUDIX Release 2.0, but I don't have the sa password, and no one at the other company knows. How can I reset or retrieve the password?
I don't believe there is a way for you do this without the help of Avaya. Have you tried using the same password that is used for the PBX, IVR or any other telecom equipment you may have? Avaya will reset it but only with the exchange of some of that green stuff that they love so much.
IMHO, there is enough information floating around about default passwords in the hacker zines that we don't need to be posting it here. Not to say anyone who knows what they are doing hasn't deleted unused logins and changed default passwords but let's help protect folks who haven't learned all the ins and outs yet by not disseminating that kind of information.
Talk to Avaya, if they want to release the information that is their perogative, as for me I'm pretty well programmed not to give out passwords, default or not.
