Norstar Voice Mail 4 - Outbound transfer to telco dialtone

Is it possible to setup the outbound transfer on a Norstar Voicemail 4 to give the caller dialtone which they can then dial the number themselves..

Usually, outbound transfer is used to direct the caller to your cell or home phone number from within your voicemail menu.

Thanks

Why would you do that? Setup DISA on the system to accomplish outgoing calls.

Ah, but one must have the hardware to do this.. Our system does not.. As it happens, I have found that I could get dialtone if I create a external transfer in the CCR tree to pool 10 and with the phone number set to "#".  No COS protection but it does work..

Just pray that no one discovers that option in the CCR! Major " S N A F U " if they do...
