Call Reporting?

Call Reporting?

Call Reporting?

(OP)
Hi,

We got 3 TDE200's at 3 locations.  Management would like to see some call reports from each one, (total number of calls, peak calls, calls in, calls out, etc...)

From my limited understanding, it seems the TDE200 can output SMDR to an IP address.  I 'think' this what I need?

Can someone recommend some SMDR capture software?  Free?

Can it put the records in a database, like SQL server or access?

Can I point all 3 PBX's at 1 IP / 1 piece of software?, (that would make life easier).

Thanks in advance,

Paul Adams

RE: Call Reporting?

I don't think you can point the smdr at an ip ...
I have a precidia ipocket232 on my TDA's serial port and I telnet into it to see smdr....

Thanks CWC3 - good info,

From the limited reading I've done, I think you can point SMDR at an IP.

Page 912 & 913 of the Panasonic "PC-Programming-Manual-TDE200" manual shows LAN options for outputting SMDR data via the LAN.

In the KX-TDE maintenance console software in section 11.1 (Maintenance, then Main), there is a "SMDR Options" tab.  The LAN settings are at the bottom of that.

I've not actually tested it - but I've found some free SMDR logging software I could test with. I wanted to hear from others what worked for them.

Regards

Paul

RE: Call Reporting?

y'know I just looked were you said and sure enough ....
I should open software before putting my foot in my mouth!!
So yes if you software support a connection via telnet on port 2300 you should be good to go!!Let us know what free software it is if it works !!

RE: Call Reporting?

There's 4 free ones here (I love SourceForge)

http://sourceforge.net/search/?type_of_search=soft&words=SMDR

I'm trying them to see which one fits my need the best without extra work.

As a last resort - I found one on a Mitel support forum from 2008 that some guy created.  The principal is basically the same, if you change the code you could support a Panasonic.

It's all just work or time...
