Message Waiting Indication on Definity Audix

Message Waiting Indication on Definity Audix

(OP)
Hi there,
Can anyone help with a problem I have with message waiting indication. I have an extension setup to cover to audix.
Is there any way I can have multiple MWI activate when a message is left?

Thanks in advance.

RE: Message Waiting Indication on Definity Audix

if you want to see it on more than one station
you can do that on the station form.
example: station 1111 have an message in audix.
if you change station 2222 and set there Message Lamp Ext:1111
and station 3333 set there also Message Lamp Ext:1111

now you see on station 1111, 2222 and 3333 if there is a message for station 1111.

Is this wat you want?

Greets, Bob

RE: Message Waiting Indication on Definity Audix

That works if station 2222 and 3333 do not need message waiting for their own extensions.  Another way to do this is to add an aut-msg-wt ext. 1111 to a digital phone (cha st xxxx).  If the phones are not part of a hunt group then you may need to go in and cha sys fea (page 2) and add 2222 and 3333 as system wide message retrievers in order for the button to light.

Thanks Bob and Maxg,
That certainly helped.
I've got it working now, though I'm not sure what I did wrong in the first place. I had problems at first getting that little red led to light. Eventually I gave-up, removed all the admin you suggested, added it back in again ( in exactly the same format ) and it worked!

Many Thanks for the advice.
