Installing a VFP ODBC Driver on NT4

Installing a VFP ODBC Driver on NT4

Anyone know where and if I can install a version of VFP ODBC Driver for NT4 systems or is the only way to get the new ODBC Driver to upgrade to 2000?

RE: Installing a VFP ODBC Driver on NT4

I relize this question shows how little I know about FoxPro.  I am working on an access project for a financial company that uses access for its primary database and this is rather fustrating going back to a not very strong database after having worked with Oracle for over a year.

RE: Installing a VFP ODBC Driver on NT4

To get the "last" (and newest) VFP ODBC driver, go to http://www.microsoft.com/data/ and get "MDAC 2.5 Service Pack 2". Note: "MDAC 2.6 Service Pack 1" doesn't have any VFP ODBC drivers, but does update other drivers.

With VFP 7.0, access to VFP datasources is now provided through the new OLEDB provider. This will probably be made generally available in MDAC 2.7.
