Hi,

We have a Nice solution, we have 2 scenarios which we need to record. 1) Contact Centre Agents 2) Normal Phone sets.

The problem I have is that the only way I can query for the normal phone sets is to give the user rights to all recordings as the phone sets do not show up as agents in the query tool!

I need to give the supervisors of the normal phone sets only access rights to there own recording and not all of them!

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Shamlcc

In the NICE administrator, goto user profile and add the user name with password then goto privilege tab. In the resource list, above "add" button highlight "channel" then click "add" button choose "channel". A window appear for you to choose which channel you want the user to see, highlight or tick the channel and press ok. P/S: You need to close and reopen all application in order to update the changes.

We have the same set up and can only set it up one way.

For the call centre we can set up accounts so only call centre can see themselves.

For back office stuff you have to assign "access all users" which gives access for the back office people as well as to teh call centre.

The only way around it that I can see is if you add each name to a extension then you should be able to group them and assign priviledges...that's as long as they sit still long enough.....otherwise the admin cost becomes too much and you spend all day updating nice....

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.
