I support a Definity G3si V6-  Users report they can dial local, long distance, and toll free numbers without any issues, however if there are additional prompts beyond the 10 digits the get dial tone with each key the press.  I too tried to access the remote access line and can call the number get dial tone, but when I try to key in the barrier code I get dial tone with each key I press which eventually routes me to the auto attendant.  Any suggestions?

You are taking about making calls through the remote access port right?  If so, 'status remote'.  If it is disabled then run the command 'enable remote'.

No- I am not referring to my remote access being disabled.  I am referring to the inability to dial anything beyond 10 digits.  For example client dials audio conference bridge 1800-456-4567 call is up- they go to key in the passcode- 12345 and get dial tone after each key they press- like the key are not working.  This is happening from every phone.  Even when I try to access the remote access at the site- I dial the number xxx-xxx-xxxx- I get tone prompting me for the barrier code- I begin to key in the barrier code- x dial tone, x dial tone again and then I get routed to the auto-attendant.  I have no alarms on anything.  Can't understand if this is in my equipment or a telco issue.

I had this problem years ago.  It was a problem with the call classifier not realizing the call had connected, not "cutting the call through."  If you wait long enough, eventually you can enter digits etc.

Timers had to be adjusted in trunk group.
