(OP)
Certified dealer trying to upgrade TDA50 1.1 to 2.0 without losing program information. Can't get tech support on weekend. Downloaded the 2.0 to a SD, booted it, trying to import dsys file from old to new. What am I missing?

RE: TDA50 upgrade 1.1 to 2.0 software

you have a good backup of the original?
maybe it need your old dsys file to run
were are you located?

RE: TDA50 upgrade 1.1 to 2.0 software

not a blessed thing on the dealer area on upgrade
I've only done the upgrade when they first come out of the
box .heart goes out to you though silly question though
why would you attempt this knowing they are not around
on the weekend .is it possible you have to reg the thing
online like a new one to get it back up?

RE: TDA50 upgrade 1.1 to 2.0 software

bit late, but u need to convert the old dsys to the newer version.  there is a menu item to do this under tool i think.  then upload it to the sd card and do a command reset.  console will ask what dsys file you want to run, choose the new one and await the reboot.
