I'm trying to distribute CCC reports via email. (CCC v5) When I check the history for the report I have the following message "Could not access 'CDO.Message' object."

Any sujestions?

It is unable to connnect with the SMTP server.

Ar you able to send mail from the CCC server test this

Hi There

I have just had this problem - and I got round it by reinstalling Windows 2000 (SP4) on to the server insted of 2003!

I know it's the long way round but it worked immediately...

Not sure about the previous post. CrashTest is along the right lines.
If the SMTP server that you are sending the email to requires authentication then you will have to point the email, in Report Admin Console, to a local SMTP server. Then set the local SMTP server up to provide the necassary authentication to the destination SMTP server. CCC does not provide this authentication.
