zone transfer problem

this is probabily a really easy thing but i cant seem to figure it out. i have two servers at different buildings both running bind 8, they have the same directory structure and send and recieve serial numbers but when it tries a transfer it logs "connect([67.165.9.178].53) for zone dasdon.com failed: Errcode: 2: No such file or directory

both servers work as far as i can tell, dnsreport.com says its fine. And i have 67.165.9.178 as masters on slave.

Not sure what you are trying to do. I found that dns1.dasdon.com is master for dasdon.com and I can do a zone transfers from that server. There are two servers that are authoritative for dasdon.com which are dns1.dasdon.com and donserv.dasdon.com. Donserv appears to be a slave for dasdon.

Are you trying to pull dasdon.com to 67.165.9.178? Which server are you trying to pull it from?
