I added a ZIP drive to my PC and when I look at My Computer it shows it as a floppy drive.

It works fine, so the PC must know it's really a ZIP drive, but the icon and identification on teh desktop show it's a floppy drive.

How can I fix this?

Does the discription say 3 1/2 inch floppy or does the icon just look like that? If it just looks like that and works fine its because Windows uses a default icon for removable media such as Floppies and Zip disks. James Collins

Yours is not the first to be set up like that. Don't waste time trying to change it. Ed Fair

When I downloaded and installed IomegaWare, I got the pretty lil Zip icons, if that's what you're after.
