Hi,

We use Excel 2000 (Data on Server,Excel local on PC)and suddenly we are getting the following message:

Microsoft Excel
Your changes could not be saved to ‘xyz.xls’, but were saved to a temporary document named ‘839D5A00’. Close the existing document, then open the temporary document and save it under a new name.

Does anybody know what this could be ?.

Thanks in advance.

If you get an answer to this let me know, I'm running into the same thing myself, Excel 97 though.
