Thanx for all your help guys, but I got the solution fron another guy.....
The problem was originally caused by changing anything in the network (Which I did by changing the name of the server)
and this corrupts the files of the CDE X-Windown sessions.
All that you need to do is to delete the directory .dt
which is placed in the user's home directory, and then let the user logout and login again, this will create a new configuration files and directory (.dt) in his home directory, and he will be able to use the full capabilities of the CDE icons..
NOTE: if the user has settings under the $HOME/.dt directory, do not delete that directory before you move these files somewhere else and then restore it under his new .dt directory..
