XVR Verify on a Opt 11 c through a SEB

I can to a xbk and download a file ok when backing up a opt 11c through a seb but cannot do a xvr through one. Has anyone ran into this or know if it is possible?

It is possible. The SEB is misconfigured. Unfortunately I do not know enough about SEB programming to tell you how to program it to work for the verify.

There are a few things that cannot be done through the SEB. Passing data back to the Nortel to restore a database is one item.

Because the SEB is a secure modem, it doesn't allow for some characters to be passed through the modem to the end equipment.

I was informed of this by Teltronics. This is a design intent.

I disagree i have done this on dozens of sites both domestic and international.

What are your settings?

9600... 8N1...Xmodem.....VT-100.

If I bypass the SEB it works everytime.
