I installed SP1a on four XP Pro workstation via a GPO. It installed fine on three of the four workstations. On the fourth, after it installed, the workstation just continually reboots. During the reboot process, it does blue scree, however, the blue screen disappears very quickly so I cannot get any info off it.

I tried to boot into safe mode and no go. Any ideas? Is there a way to remove the SP via recovery console? Thanks in advance for any help.

I similar trouble because I had a custom bootscreen. I think the trick revolved around replacing NTOSKERNAL.EXE, but go to for the specifics (If that is the problem)

Thanks for the reply. Do not have a custome boot screen. All four of the workstation were exactly the same.
