Hi experts,

I feel bad asking.
On the desktop, the font beneath the icons is white/shadowed. I want to change it to black/non-shadowed.

How do I do this? I've roamed all over Properties/Themes/ etc... I ewpected it to be obvious but....

Thanks
Milt.

Play around with this setting.

Start/Control Panel/System/Advanced/Performance/Settings/ Visual
Effects/"Use drop shadows for icon labels on the Desktop"

The second part of your question, have a look at Display Properties/ Appearance/ Advanced, under "Item:" have a look at Icon to change text color, size, font, etc.
