All,

I have a small issue that I know is simple, but can't seem to figure it out and did not know where to post.

I have Winzip 11 plus the command line add-in. Here is my issue, I should be able to go to a command prompt and type the following:

"C:\Program Files\WinZip\WZZIP.EXE" -yp -v "C:\test.zip" C:\Test\*.*

The -yp option show the screen, it does not error, but says 0% and puts me back at the command prompt. Any ideas?

Are you putting the quotes round the command line for the purposes of this post, or is that exactly how you are typing it at the command line?

If at the Command Line.
Q1 - Does it need the quotes. You should be able to type it as C:\Program Files\WinZip\WZZIP.EXE. Also is WZZIP.EXE is the correct program to run from the Command Line

Q2 - Ditto for C:\test.zip

Q3 - Are the Switches in the right place?

Q4 - The dumb question, There are files in the Test Directory to Zip?

Still no joy. Yes, wzzip is the correct program to run according to the very limited documentation I have access to. I tried to simplify by going to Dos command prompt and went to this dir: C:\Program Files\WinZip and then executed the following:

WZZIP.EXE -yp -v C:\test.zip C:\Test\test.txt

I have a zip file created under c: (test.zip) that is empty but it is created to use. I have a test.txt under C:\Test directory, so I would think it should zip my test.txt file to the Test.zip. What do you think?
