I am trying to run XP's System Monitor (perfmon.exe) on Windows XP Pro SP1 but the data does not update. I have added a few counters (such as % Processor Time) and set them to update every second, but no joy! I am an admin of the box so it's not a permission problem. I also can get performance data at the command line using the typeperf.exe function (from the reskit). Anyone seen this before or got any suggestions?

Thanks!
