XP Service Pack 3 RTM (final, not release candidate!) will be released on April 29 to Microsoft Download Center and Windows Update.

i loaded the beta. how can i roll it back to SP2?

Assuming you didn't delete the uninstall files, all it should take is going into Add/Remove programs and clicking on "Service Pack 3" and clicking Remove, and then following all the prompts.

btw, for all readers that may or may not know, you need to remove any Service Pack 3 beta/release candidates you have installed before you can install Service Pack 3 RTM

All my machines are up to date with 'normal' updates, it will be interesting to see if any are offered SP3.

Not old news...confirmed fact from Microsoft now versus rumour ;)

I noticed in reading other sites that Microsoft has SP3 on Technet and MSDN now so if you have access to either, go have fun.

Thnx Glenn, for the update there...

PS: 'twas just making a little joke there... ;)

Not yet!

I guess it might be hard to find - I keep reading of people getting it. It's "leaked out" now to Softpedia and MajorGeeks (I have to wonder what MS thinks of that?), so maybe you could find it there if not in MSDN/Technet?
