XP SP1 - HELP

I have just put in some new XP machines pre-installed with SP1.

Now I have slow login times and 30-60 second waits to look at network drives.

I have looked at patches, etc. but need some help. which ones do i need.

(server- win 2000 sp4)

Check this thread out. thread779-540080 While not SP1 specific, it may help troubleshoot the slow logins.

Thanks for the comments - i had already looked at some of these threads.

My DNS settings are pukka and not the problem.

I traced the problem to only occuring with XP Pro and XP Pro SP1 machines active at the same time. I had been holding off the SP1 as I had heard of problems. Now installed on all machines and running AOK.
