XP pro taskbar

The other night I accidently resized my task bar to twice its normal size and now when I try to resize it back to normal it won't allow me to. It will just jump the normal size and dissapear at the bottom of the screen.

I'm running Windows XP Pro with windowsblinds, however I unloaded windowsblinds and tried it but still the same result. I checked if the task bar was locked but it was unlocked.

anybody experience the same problem?

The first thing to try would be System Restore to a point when your settings were correct.
