When I run the Windows XP Pro setup and have the drive format itself. WHen it is almost complete it stops and will not load the Pro_seg4.swf file. If skiped it won't copy a few other files and after a reboot XP won't start up at all. Does anyone know exactly what is going on with this specific file? Is there a way around this mess?

Could be just a problem with the install CD/CD or DVD ROM (ie, drive can't read disk properly - either because disk slightly damaged, drive slightly damaged or they're slightly incompatible). You could try a disk copy of the install CD and/or a different CD/DVD drive.

Or it could be a hardware problem with the machine (is this first time setup on this machine - or have you been having problems - and is reinstall? If the second, most likely hardware issue - you'll need to identify which item of hardware is causing the problem (eg, try with each stick of RAM on its own if you have > 1. Disconnect 'unnecesary' hardware during setup.

We had a issue with a machine we where building, tuned out that one ram stick was faulty - took out one ram stick and installed not a problem.
