XP Pro NTFS Permissions

Ok lard arse here has either removed all permissions from a directory or something has.
This directory contains data which i NEED!

How can i get access again??... all users/groups have been removed from it and i cannot set any permissions.
Is there a way of reseting or sending back to default???
I've tried a utility call FIXACLS.EXE from NT resource kit but it don't work... i don't have any other resource kits... let alone XP's version.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP...

Have you tried to take ownership?

If you can view the current owner try to modify the permissions using this account.

Nice one... thats worked....
had trouble finding the secuirty tab within Xp but sorted it as i had Use Simple File Sharing checked within folder options.
