xp pro and missing program files

I need help with finding missing files and why they are just disappearing?

I am missing WordPad, pinball, and freecell. They are no where to be found.

I have "repaired" with the CD but they are still gone. I sure don't want to start over with a clean install again.

I have run adaware, spybot, virus scanner and nothing is listed.

I will check again the "Clean up desktop after 60 days" to see if repair put the check back in the box.

If I keep having these problems xpp is going to get dumped, again for 98se.

Any helps will be appreciated.

No more help is needed. I reinstalled the Accessories/Utilities under control panel add/remove and now the files are back.
