I've got an XP Pro box connected to my WinNT domain. PCs that are members of the domain can access the machine without error, but any PC that is not a member of the domain is promptly met with "\\hostname is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions." It doesn't matter if the client machine is running XP Pro, Home, or Win2k, they all get this error.
Typically, they SHOULD be met with a logon dialog whereby they could then enter their NT Domain username and password, but this doesn't happen.
So far, I have disabled simple file sharing, removed power mgmt capabilities from the NIC, and deleted and recreated all shares. All without luck. Any ideas?
