Hi
I have a Crystal report that has several sub reports and also has a bmp image attached to it. When this report is run, it must go through many of the records in my SQL database.
I have a Windows 2000 Server as my SQL server. The client computers are a mix of Windows 2000 Pro and Windows XP Pro. I consistantly have a problem with this report when my Windows XP computers try to run it. I get my preview window and if I try to print or goto the last page, while its spooling the pages it locks up on me. I must End Task to get out. I have tried waiting over 20 minutes and it never finishs. I have 275 records total and it gets to about 20 and crashes.
I have removed half the sub reports and the image, trying to get it to quit locking up on me. That did not seem to help. Its just on the XP computers though - the Windows 2000 ones work great every time. Has anyone else had this problem and knows how to get around it?
The computers are simalar in specs. I have duplicated the problem on multiple networks ( at first I thought it was a network connection issue, but not I do not believe it is ).
