I want to use the XP Local Security Policy, Security Options, Interactive Logon, Message text and message title. I cut and pasted a warning message in the text and it works great. Does anyone know how to include a picture in this login screen? Is there anyway to modify the screen other than what MS includes?

thanks

hmm i dont know if you can insert a picture inside a text message but, do you want to change the background image that appears during logon, at the logon screen? you can do that using x-setup, which you can get here:

otherwise im not sure what else you can do.

dIXB states a good workaround.
And he is correct that an image cannot be inserted with the Registry text facilities.

Thanks DIDIB and bcastner for the input. I should have stated that I wanted to insert an image in the "background" image of the Interactive Logon screen not the text message. I will give x-setup a try. That's what I wanted.

thanks again
