I just got a LTO drive and I want to use it to archive my photo's. Yes I shoot many.

So I want to use ARCserve as archiving software, write once and never erase. Build up a tape library.

A. Can this be done with ARCserve?
B. Does ARCserve run properly under XP HOME?
C. Do I need special drivers like with Veritas?
D. Can I search a catalog on disk and restore just 1 file, while ARCserve tells me which cartridge to load?

Please could anyone answer my question?
It's no use building in the LTO in a XP Home machine if the OS won't support ARCserve Backup...

As per the compatibility matrix on the CA site XP Pro only.

Darn, but thank you for the reply...
