I have an XP workstation connecting to a Novell Netware server and a W2K server. My workstation has started telling me that I am working offline from the Novell server. When I reboot I get the connection back for a short while and then it goes offline again.

The only thing that I had changed on the computer was that I directed the My Documents folder to my home area on the Novell server. I have changed this back to the original configuration but the problem still exists.

I'm sure that this is an XP issue rather than a Novell one as I have'nt had any reports of connection problems with other workstations. Any help is gratefully appreciated.

What version of the Novell Client are you running, and have you tried this particular workstation on a network connection that isn't having any problems?

I am using 4.83 sp2 novell client and it's the same on another network point

Also it's an Intel chipset based nic.

I have installed the 4.83 sp2a client so I'll see if this makes a difference before doing anything else. Thanks for the advice so far. I'll let you know how I get on.
