XP does not save themes. 1

Hi,

I have been using XP home for almost a year now. I went to the launch party...that was really fun. Anyway I have a problem that I cannot seem to fix. When I choose to change my desktop to the XP setup everything is fine. After I shut down and start my laptop up again my laptop has reverted back to the Windows Classic Theme. Has anyone seen this problem? Has anyone fixed it without having to do a complete reload?

Just one thing you could check. Make sure that the Theme Service is set to Automatic and is Started.

Where would I find the Theme Services?

Right click My Computer icon/ Manage/ Services and Applications /Services. Double click on any service to access properties.
