I am going to be getting new computer. HP. It will have XP Home I am Considering XP PRO. I was just wondering on any compatibility issues or anything else I should know with the lateset version of Internet Explorer . . . AOL. . . . etc. Operating systems (Office Software is actually) are not my strong point and eventually I am working on making a home network (Eventually getting Small Business Server etc) however anyone have any general tips etc?

I know this is general etc. . . but I didn't want to limit answers. Just general info and opinions etc. are what I am looking for.

There is not a whole lot of difference, mainly XPpro allows remote desktop, multi-processor support, restricted access control, encrypting file system (ntfs) and improved network features such as roaming user profiles and remote installation.

AOL runs just fine on XPpro w/ or wo/ sp1. IE6 no probs that i have come accross.

XPpro is the business solution..
