I know this is not an XP forum but I'm hoping that someone can help.
I have a NT based network part of which includes a DHCP service for laptop users who work our 2 UK sites and can't run static IP as the two sites are on different ranges. I have one XP user who could get a DHCP address on Friday but not today. The server is denying it but I can't find a reason. The DNS server for the company is at another site and no one else has had a problem getting an IP address and accessing the domain. I can statically get the machine on the network and can register it with the DNS but it won't do it automatically.
I've done all of the standard things but I'm certain that I'm missing something obvious. If anyone's got any ideas then I'll be very happy.
