Dear All,

Java was loaded in my computer by some member. That was making system unstable. I had remove java. System automatically shut down. Now I am having difficulties to reboot.

Is there a way to reload the operating system without formatting the hard disk. When I was working with safe mode, the display show last item \system32\mup.sys. Is it this file been corrupt. If I copy this from any other area should this be working.

Any idea of making my operating system work without reformatting the hard disk will be highly appreciated.

Regards

Jay

Ignore MUP.SYS, as the issue likely lies with a later device driver. Mup.sys is the last drive prior to entering a true 32-bit stage in the Operating System.

Remember to go to Windows Update, as you will lose your service pack and hotfix information with the reinstallation of the OS.

Thank you mate for your quick reply. I will let you know how I go.

Best Regards

Jay
