XP Boot process - Recovery Console - Admin password 1

When starting the recovery console, the user is asked to supply the administrator password. Sometimes the user/admin may loose the orginal admin password therefore...

You can disable the prompt for the password, by accessing..

Control Panel
Admin Tools
Local security policy
Local policies
Security options

ENABLE - Automatic logon for recovery console

If I need to get into the recovery console, odds are that I can't boot the machine to get into Control Panel, Admin tools, etc... Cheers,

Enable this function for possible future boot problems.
