I’m running XP Pro with SP1. Every now and again, something falls over and I’m not really too bothered about that (I’ve been using Micro$oft “Operating” Systems for far too long to think anyone has an answer to that one), however, what I want to know is regarding the little message box that pops up with the title of whichever application has fallen over at the top, and inside it says
“<<This program>> has encountered a problem and
needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on
might be lost.
Please tell Micro$oft about this problem.
We have created an error report that you can send to us. We will treat
this report as confidential and anonymous.

and then there are two buttons labelled ‘Send Error Report’ and ‘Don’t Send’.
Well, I never send. Frankly, I’ve got better things to do with my bandwidth than send cr@p to Micro$oft that they’re never ever going to read (or if they do, take any action on), so what I really want to know is, is there a way to switch that box off, so that it does come up and bug me when I’m already annoyed by the application that’s just fallen over?
