XIO: fatal IO error 110 (Connection timed out) - issue

I have three sites that are connected on a WAN. When pulling up complex operations from two of the three sites I get the following error message:

XIO: fatal IO error 110 (Connection timed out) on X server "999.99.99.99:9.0" after 419 requests (257 known processed) with 42 events remaining

(Please note that I have blanked out my IP for company security concerns.)


Complex operations include IDE tools, xcalc, etc. However, non-complex operations like xclock works fine.

I am able to remotely log into my two problem sites, set my display and pull up xterms. However, I can't execute complex operations.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!! (*help*)
