I just purchased a Xerox Phaser 6250 and have followed the color calibrations exactly. I use Adobe PhotoShop CS and have calibrated my monitor with 'Adobe Gamma'. The color output from the 6250 on is terrible, especially on flesh tones. They are muted and appear oversaturated. The same photos printed on my Phaser 8200 solid ink printer are great. I know the 6250 is capable of good color because the demo prints are great. What am I doing worng?

I'm curious if you resolved your print quality issue with the Phaser 6250. How does the 6250 color compare with that of the 8200? I'm in the market for a color printer, and color quality is very important.
Thanks.

Are you using the PS driver and is it set to photo mode? If you use the pcl driver you will have terrible color.
