XEROX 7300 REPLACE BLACK TONER CARTRIDGE BUT IT HAS NEW TONER INSTALLE

xerox phase 7300 at power on display shows,replace black toner cartridge.but it has a new toner cartrige.
any ideas?

Take the toner cartridge out and hit it on a solid surface to break up compacted toner. reinstall see if this takes care of the problem, if not try a new Genuine Xerox cartridge.
