I'm trying to apply a permission to multiple user home directory. When i create the main c:\users have all the right and it inheritable box is check. Once I run xcalcs and assign certain permission /G then the subfolder doesn't inheritate anymore. does anyone run into this problem. I'm running this on w2k server.

The command you should ahve used was "" Cacls /g username:f /e ""

The /e part tells it to edit the setting and not to overright the settings inherited.

Do you see what i mean mate Matthew Hankins
