WXPSP2 Services Issue - Stopping on their own... 1

Hi,

I have a problem with WXPSP2 and it's services, randomly a bunch (10+) just decide to stop... for example:

Computer Browser
Messenger
DHCP Client
Print Spooler
Server Service
Windows Audio
Wireless.......

The list goes on and as youcan imagine this is causing me some headaches from users! I can manually restart them but a few seconds later and a refresh of the screen they have stopped again.

Windows Updates are applied from a WSUS server.

Hardware: Dell D620 laptops, latest chipset and BIOS installed...

I am having this same problem. I'm not sure how the KB you referenced (KB927891) relates to the problem. Could you please post your results?

I'm not sure how it relates either, but after it was installed no issues were reported.

We have noticed a similiar issue. Any documentation that I could read over online about this issue would be useful.

just worked on a computer that had the problem here on the bench. I don't know why it works, but it seems to.
