Hi all,
First off this relates to 98/98SE/2K/XP - I couldn't decide where to put it.
In my office we use some space we have from a registered domain name as a kind of 'network drive' for transferring files from one of our offices to the other, as both offices have high speed connections.
I distributed a link to some people that they open from their favourites in windows explorer (nice simple GUI so as not to confuse anyone)
Although someone recently pointed out to me that some files (seemingly random) that are uploaded appear with the incorrect date - one year behind.
This only happens when viewed from windows explorer, if you connect via a ftp program or command line you see the correct date.
The server is a Unix host, could this problem be to do with explorer not handling the POSIX locale thing?
Wondering if anybody has any ideas as to this weirdnees, any help would be most appreciated.
Cheers,
Hads.
