Is this an ODBC attached table? If so, I've seen this happen when an ODBC driver translates data in a non-perfect way, ie, when you change field A, and go to save it, your changes are compared to your original record, and Field B, say, a Double, is compared to what the ODBC driver had as original, and thinks it's different than what it currently is--it assumes someone else changed it, and gives that message. I don't know of a foolproof way around it.<br>
