I work in a project where we are facing a write conflict<br>

Is this an ODBC attached table? If so, I've seen this happen when an ODBC driver translates data in a non-perfect way, ie, when you change field A, and go to save it, your changes are compared to your original record, and Field B, say, a Double, is compared to what the ODBC driver had as original, and thinks it's different than what it currently is--it assumes someone else changed it, and gives that message. I don't know of a foolproof way around it.<br>

I am having a similar problem-<br>*** I have a 'main' form and a 'submain' subform - (one to many relation) after updating the subform , I click a cmdbtn (which opens the next form) - at this time I get the &quot;Write Conflict&quot; error with three button choices - &quot;Save Changes&quot;, &quot;Copy to Clipboard&quot; and &quot;Drop Changes&quot;. When &quot;Save Changes&quot;is selected - another error is triggered which states that changes can't be saved because the primary key would be duplicated - BUT the changes ARE actually saved - ...when &quot;Copy to Clipboard&quot; or &quot;Drop Changes&quot; are selected - the record is saved without an additional error being triggered.***<br>Its PROBABLY a simple thing - just can't see the trees for the forest right now#?!!<br>ANY guruful advice will be most humbly welcomed.<br><br>Jim&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;: {
