We have an IPO prospect where about thirty 4406 telephones are the right solution - for those folks that really only make and take calls. They need more buttons than 5402 and less than 5410. My concern is that, with Avaya dropping both the DT stations and 4600 series - I fear that 4400 series is next to get the ax, and we won't be able to take advantage of future software enhancements. Thoughts?

so what would be wrong with something like a basic analogue phone?

Cant you go for the T3 phones, i understood each phone can have 2 DSS modules.

The phones need a button that lights to pick calls from a queue - actually easier on 4406 - just press button to get call vs press button and then Answer soft key on 5410. Also need integrated speaker for all page.
I'm in US - T3 phones not available.
