Couple of comments:<br>"goes along with" means something to you, but is not very specific. In the same row? In the same table? Are there links to other tables involved?<br>"most current date" is less ambiguous - the maximum date that is less than or equal to the current date perhaps? Do you have to deal with ties (can two or more rows have the same date)?<br>The trick in working with data is translating english descriptions, which tends to be vague and imprecise, into a formula/SQL that needs to be precise.
