Would like to print data associated with the most current date

I am trying to get a report to print out the information which goes along with the most current date in a certain field. What would the formula look like that would enable me to do this? <br><br>Thanks

Couple of comments:<br>&quot;goes along with&quot; means something to you, but is not very specific.&nbsp;&nbsp;In the same row?&nbsp;&nbsp;In the same table?&nbsp;&nbsp;Are there links to other tables involved?<br>&quot;most current date&quot; is less ambiguous - the maximum date that is less than or equal to the current date perhaps? Thanks Malcolm-<br><br>I apologize for my inaccurate descriptions, I hope the following information will help you help me.<br><br>To answer your questions, the date data is within one &quot;Date&quot; table. This &quot;date&quot; table is linked up to other tables. In the &quot;date&quot; table there are occaisionally a few dates associated with the same record. I would like to have a report take just the most current date out of the table and display all or most of its &quot;date data&quot; from the date table. By the way, the report would also include other data taken from some other tables in the database (this aspect of the reort hasn't been the problem for me). The information which goes along with the &quot;old&quot; date is not important to me and therefore needs not be included in the report. I am only concerned with the most current date and its data being present in my report. Is this possible?<br><br>Thanks again <br><br>
