Workplace ios - 1st call of the day or when the app has not been used for several hours rings once and then drops

Using workplace iOS with IPO 12.1 with ASBCE
FIRST INBOUND CALL OF THE DAY or the first inbound call if the app has not been used for a few hours rings once then stops ringing on the app continues to ring other devices/apps. We have proper certificates, we have avaya cloud services enabled for the push, this ticket has been open with avaya for seven months as well. Endless back-and-forth changes to specials files, etc. etc. nothing ever fixes it. They’ve asked for tons and tons of call samples logs the app log the session border controller log monitor system status etc. etc. continuously happens and not just on one iPhone any suggestions? Has anyone had this issue before? How is it fixed if it even was fixed?

They have confirmed that our configuration on both the session border controller and the IP office and their cloud services page are all 100% accurate

You mean, Avaya Workplace is not ringing in IPhones after a few hours? or just the first call after a few hours?
 
After a few hours of not using the app, an incoming call will only ring once on the app. Then it will show up as a missed call on the app, even if it’s continuing to ring on the physical device. Typically these next call will ring normally. And then all other calls will continue to ring normally unless there is a long period with no calls and then the cycle starts over. For example, each morning, the first inbound call the day rings only once.
