In my WORD documents I want to incorporate rather broad tables that do not fit on the page when in portrait lay-out.

I guess I have 2 options: either rotate the table, but that will probably cause a neck injury, or start a new section in landscape layout for the tables.
However, the problem is that the headers and footers do not rotate with the page and that's not acceptable.

I know for a fact that rotating the headers with the page is possible, but I don't know how to do it.

Can anyone help? Robert

Not quite getting this. If you have pages in portrait, and do a Insert > Break > Section Break Next Page, and make the new section landscape, the headers and footers are the correct orientation.

Word 2002.

Well, normally the header is on top of the page, that is, on the short side of the paper in portrait.
When I insert a section in landscape, the header remains on top of the page: on the long side of the page (the header doesn't rotate).

I want my header to rotate with the page, to the short (right) side. As if the entire page including the header has rotated. If I then place a table on the rotated page and print it, alle pages look the same with regard to the headers and the pages in the rotated section contain rotated tables.
