Word - numbered list indentation

1. Vol 1 1 This is a numbered list
2. Vol 1 2 There is a tab before vol, 1, 2 etc.
3. vol 1 3 This is a long list item it goes on and wraps
here - but this is not what I want
4. vol 1 4 When I have a long item I want it to wrap to
here not back at the first tab
5. vol 1 5 can you help ?

We do similar things. Numbering is tied to styles, but you can define a new style with its own indentation. First get a paragraph looking the way you want it, then click [Styles] under [Format] to create your new style from that paragraph. You can then apply it as needed.
