Word inking default pen color

The default pen color when I use inking annotation in 2003 is alway RED. I don't use red and would like to to default to black. Any ideas?

I can change it there, but next time I use it, it is back to red. Can't find where to set it as default black pen.

the default color is contained in Microsoft.Ink.dll

if you are theoprogrammer type then mostl ikely there is info at msdn to change the dll
